French Hunting Toile
This master bedroom is west facing and on
the top floor. The clients already had a
motorized shade but needed to cover the light
gap so they could sleep easier at night. Plus
add some softness to the room.

A large valance with velvet banding and top
cording give this master a new luxurious feel
and the blackout draperies add the function
that they need. I made sure to install the
draperies so that the light gap would be
covered and they slide gracefully on a track
system so they are very easy to close with a
simple pull of a baton.

Custom bedding completes the room. A
comforter was made with Euro Shams in the
velvet and Queen Shams with the French
Hunting Toile and 2 accent neck rolls in velvet
and small check that was used on the
draperies. The leading edge of the draperies
has an added detail of banding in the Toile and
cording. A bed skirt was also made in the
same design as the valance.
